COMAR 14.30.07.04C: To clarify means of service, Change current regulation to:

C. Service. The petitioner shall serve the respondent or respondents with a copy of the petition by U.S. Post. Electronic mail may be used as an additional form of service.

COMAR 14.30.11.12B(1)(c): Requests for subpoenas don’t need to be sent by certified mail, just the subpoenas themselves. Therefore, change current regulation to:

(c) Be sent by U.S. Post, electronic mail, or personal delivery to the Board and to each party.

Public comment.

Individuals may sign up to present comment on Board business, except matters filed as cases, and may present comments for up to 3 minutes. The Board particularly cautions speakers against commenting in any manner on cases to be heard by the Board after the conclusion of meetings. Individuals who wish to speak to the proposed regulation should provide the Boards with written copies of their comments.
